So how was your Easter? Did you eat all the traditional foods like hot cross buns, Simnel cake and roast lamb or are Easter eggs the only thing you buy? I meant to attempt some homemade hot cross buns this year but never got round to it - I might still give them a go this week, even if it's a bit late ! We (or should I say the Easter Bunny? Or even the church bells, if we go with the French traditional story !) did hide lots of chocolate goodies around the house and patio for the kids to find, but that was about it.
We also received a lovely L.O.L. Surprise! Easter hunt kit, containing all sorts of goodies for the kids to find along with their chocolate - a L.O.L. Surprise diva bow, a secret message, jokes, a colouring in sheet, a postcard, some sweets and a L.O.L. Surprise, which contains seven surprises in itself.
We reviewed a L.O.L. Surprise a couple of months ago and showed you, layer by layer, what we found inside : a secret message, stickers, an accessory (little drinks bottle), shoes, an outfit, a little doll and a dummy, plus the container which doubles up as a bathtub. When your L.O.L. doll is fed or bathed, she will change colour, spit, wee or cry ! Each character is completely different, with over 45 dolls to collect in Series 1, including the ultra rare Gliteratti, so you can build up a collection.
The Madhouse kids had great fun hunting out their surprises, of both the edible and L.O.L. kind ! I hope you had a happy Easter too.
