Being a dual-nationality family, we tend to alternate our Christmases between England and France. Christmas wouldn't be Christmas in England without turkey with all the trimmings followed by Christmas pudding, but when it comes to France, there is no such tradition so you never know what you'll be served for festive lunch.
I would love to see the French in-laws' faces if I told them we were having burgers for our Christmas meal but even the biggest food snob, whatever their nationality, couldn't roll their eyes at the quality of these limited edition Camembert and Cranberry Beef Burgers that have been designed by Muddy Boots Real Food Limited with the Christmas market in view. We were sent some to try out.

The Camembert and Cranberry beef burgers combine the succulent top cuts of Aberdeen Angus beef, which Muddy Boots always uses in its burgers, with the smooth creaminess of Camembert and the sweet bite of cranberries. The flavours really complement each other and the juicy beef creates a delicious high quality burger that has the taste and texture of real meat, not something you'd find on the menu at McDonalds !
The limited edition Christmas burger will be available in Waitrose, online at Ocado and through Muddy Boots foodhall from 2nd November 2011, alongside Muddy Boots' Classic Burger and Caramelised Onion and Mozzarella flavours already on the shelves of Waitrose.
